The Four Corners Gem and Mineral Show has issued a Call For Volunteers.
The event takes place at La Plata County Fairgrounds from July 11th through the 13th.

This event relies on local volunteers to make it happen. Volunteering for at least 1 shift will grant you free access to the show for all three days.

The Southwest Colorado eSchool your free, LOCAL, accredited, rigorous, and flexible 6th-12th grade ONLINE school! We serve only the LOCAL districts including Dove Creek, Montezuma-Cortez, Mancos, Dolores, Durango, Silverton, Bayfield, Ignacio, and Archuleta. Our virtual, public school has been serving our community for over 14 years.

San Juan Mountains Association will host an Early Summer Wildflowers and Edible / Medicinal Plants Walk along the Piedra River Trail. The event starts at 9AM on Thursday, June 26th. More information is at sjma.org.

We’ll be walking with wild plants expert Lake MuCullough (owner of Earthsense Herbals) on this fun and educational ramble through the forest.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.
